What's new in Traktor Pro 4.1

Traktor Pro 4.1.0 introduces support for the brand-new Z1 MK2 modular mixing controller, adds a new Pattern kit by the Cube Guys, and enables lossless streaming on Beatport and Beatsource. Plus, there's plenty more small improvements and bug fixes.

Added Feature

  • Z1 MK2 integration
Traktor Pro 4 is ready to go on Z1 MK2, including lots of customization options for the functional layout and visual feedback.
  • macOS 15 Sequoia and Apple M3 compatibility
  • Beatport / Beatsource FLAC streaming
The new lossless streaming format available on Beatport and Beatsource is now fully supported.
  • New Pattern Player kit from The Cube Guys
  • Downbeat on Grid Marker reset option
A new option allows resetting the downbeat on each Grid Marker. This is a return to the grid type cue points in Traktor Pro 3.
  • Additional visibility options for markers
Grid Markers and Cue Markers can now be set to visible, minimized, or fully hidden, depending on the selected panel mode.
  • Clearer selected tempo zone
The current selected tempo zone is now more clearly highlighted to better support flexible grid editing.
  • Play Pointer header
The Play Pointer header has been made more visible to facilitate the detection of the current play position.
  • Clearer disabled states for Mixer and FX knobs
The mixer and the FX knobs are now clearly disabled when not in use.
  • Support for audio interfaces with 12+ channels
Traktor now fully supports audio interfaces with more than 12 channels.

Fixed

  • Display controllers crashing when loading stems
Loading the stem version of an playing track into the same deck no longer causes display controllers connected to Traktor to crash.
  • Some samples not playing on Remix Decks
All samples now play successfully on Remix Decks without needing to be set to loops.
  • Stem separation not available in Explorer node
Stem separation features are now fully available in the Explorer node – as they already used to be in playlists.

Removed

  • Send to Aslice
Send to Aslice function has been removed as the service has been discontinued.

Known issues

  • Z1 MK2 does not auto configure on Windows
On Windows you must manually select the Z1 MK2 as your audio device in the Audio Setup preferences.
  • Z1 MK2 firmware update required on first launch
To ensure flawless functionality, the firmware of the Z1 MK2 must be updated on first connection. Traktor will show a dialog pointing you to the device updater, when you first connect your Z1 MK2. You can find instructions in in this article.
  • Stems waveforms initially not visible on D2 / S5 / S8
When loading stem files (associated or not) on the D2 / S5 / S8, the waveforms are not displayed (stripe is). With any screen interaction triggering a refresh, the waveforms are shown correctly.
  • Beatport / Beatsource lossless tracks show wrong compression rate
Tracks from Beatport / Beatsource that you already played in the past in AAC format will continue to show the 256 kbps compression rate even after you changed your Streaming Preferences on Beatport/Beatsource.com to lossless (Flac). Read more about migrating to Beatport / Beatsource lossless streaming in this article.
