just a little statement about artist-payments: it is funny that almost every artist wants to have big remixers for their ep's but they tend to forget that this popular artists cost money. seeing the fact that one ep (with let's say 400 vinyl copies pressed) costs around 2000 euro for the label (mastering, vinyl-cut, gema, pressing, remixes, artwork etc.), it is only fair if the artist at least covers 50% of the remix-costs which have been caused at his own request. and please wake up, people: the times that you get rich by releasing your music on vinyl are definitely over. in the end it is nothing but promotion and should be used to generate gigs, because that's where the money is at nowadays. and for all those who think we as a label are earing on the back of all those poor artists and go rich with it: in the end we can be happy if we go out with a 0 for each release and don't loose money. what we are doing here is done for the love of music and because it is our passion to keep this music and also the vinyl alive and not for economic reasons, because otherwise the label would have been closed already since years. so please come back to reality, folks!
